This monitor aims to pull together information across regional partners to understand the impacts on the economy – at a sub national level, across the Midlands Engine geography.
Our 50th edition of the Monitor comes at a time where the evidence suggests the economic shocks of the last five years are winding down as businesses get back onto a growth footing and the economy is at a turning point in the cycle and the worst of the crisis is behind us. The latest monitor covers the latest labour market related challenges, a series of work on the green transition and also follows up on previous reports on investment across the UK and the Midlands.
